The Colombian economy reported a growth of 5.5% in April 2024 compared to the same month of 2023.

This was reported by the National Administrative Department of Statistics (Dane) in its Economic Monitoring Indicator (ISE), according to which this positive behavior was led by primary activities (agriculture and mining and quarrying), with a rebound of 10.2%.

The second activities that grew the most were those of services (electricity supply, water distribution, waste management and environmental sanitation activities), with an advance of 5.2%.
