They trained taxi drivers and taxi drivers in the city

The Municipality of the Capital, through the Ministry of Tourism and Economic Development, and with the support of the National Federation of Taxi Drivers (Catamarca Delegation), carried out training on Friday for taxi drivers and taxi drivers in the city. This action was carried out within the framework of the “Hospital Tourist Providers” program, which seeks to raise awareness among those providers who are in permanent contact with tourists about the importance of tourist activity as a factor for the development of the city.

The talk took place in the facilities of the Technological Node and was attended by the Secretary of Tourism and Economic Development of the Municipality, Inés Galíndez, and the Catamarca delegate of the aforementioned Federation of taxi drivers, Miriam Ramírez, in addition to the presence of taxi drivers in the Capital.

During the training session, which was guided by Tourism Graduate Noelia Miranda, member of the technical team of the Municipal Tourism Directorate and tourism entrepreneur, an interesting exchange took place with the participants. In effect, this training space aimed to provide tools on how to respond to the specific concerns of tourists regarding the city’s tourist offer, the importance of the main tourist attractions and the link with service providers such as hotels, gastronomic services, travel agency, tourist guides and active tourism providers, among others.

This was the first of a series of trainings that will be held for taxi drivers and taxi drivers in the city on various topics.
