A meeting led by the Secretary of Citizen Liaison of the province, Laura Mirantes, and the Mayor of Gualjaina, Marcelo Limarieri, brought together a significant number of producers from that town and the area who raised different problems and needs that they face.
Limarieri thanked the provincial government for its presence, highlighting the action proposed by the current administration of Governor Ignacio Torres.
More than a hundred residents of Gualjaina and its surrounding areas attended the meeting, as well as the president of the Cushamen Rural Commune, Omar González, with residents of his area.
The meeting took place in the Community Hall, raising problems related to water for irrigation and drinking in rural areas, land ownership, electrical network installation, among others.
Provincial officials promised to provide answers soon.
Mayor Limarieri highlighted “the Governor’s commitment and interest in sending his officials to listen to our community, seek answers and solutions to the problems that arise for producers in this area,” he noted.
