Born in Bogotá on March 2, 1986, he knew that he wanted to act from the day that, being just a child, his father took him to the cinema to see the remembered jurassic park by Steven Spielberg. “I remember that my dad bought a combo meal, and the normal thing is for a 9-year-old boy to see a hot dog and eat it. I didn’t even touch it, because he was fascinated with what he saw on the screen,” he said in a talk with the digital division of the RCN Channel.

Since 2021 he has been in a relationship with Susana Rojaswith whom he coincided during the recordings of several productions, including Nurses. When he is not on set, Julián dedicates himself to writing. “I am a screenwriter, I write scripts for short films and feature films. I compose music, I play guitar, I sing. And I really like teaching,” he expressed. He has even recognized that, if he had not dedicated himself to acting, he would have prepared himself to be a professional musician, since what he currently knows about music he has developed empirically.
