The Casanare Energy Company announced that they will suspend the electricity service from 1:00 am to 4:00 in the morning this Tuesday, June 18, to carry out scheduled maintenance to change the 40 MVA power transformer, generating great impact in the North and Center of Casanare, in the department of Vichada and 3 municipalities of Boyacá.

The municipalities affected by the cut are, Yopal (urban and rural), Nunchía (urban and rural), Orocué (urban and rural), Pore (urban and rural), San Luis de Palenque (urban and rural), Támara (urban and rural), Trinidad (urban and rural), Paz de Ariporo (urban and rural), Hato Corozal (urban and rural), Vichada Department (Santa Rosalía and Primavera) and in the Boyacá Department (Labranzagrande, Paya and Pisba).

According to Enerca, “it is to reduce failures in the provision of the service and respond in a timely manner in case of eventualities.”

Most of the “scheduled maintenance” by the Casanare Energy Company are suspended at the last minute without further explanation, generating disbelief about the seriousness of Enerca’s announcements.
