Remember that the fine for failing to comply with this rule is 15 minimum daily wages ($679,000). and could include immobilization of the vehicle.

It should be remembered that for both types of vehicles the measure begins at 5:00 am and will extend until 8:00 pm. For taxis, The restriction begins at 6:00 am and will extend until 8:00 pm

Remember the exceptions

It should be remembered that the peak and plate measurement contemplates some exceptions.

In the case of cars, those that are hybrid or electric will be able to circulate without problem. For taxis, the rule allows circulation of those who carry out maintenance work on their vehicles and are without passengers.

Likewise, for this semester the authorities once again exempted several brokers from the measure, due to its importance for the circulation of vehicles coming from other cities.

“The vehicle restriction remains between 5:00 am and 8:00 pm throughout the territory except for the townships and La Avenida Regional, Las Palmas and the road to the West. In all neighborhoods it will govern normally,” reported the Mayor of Medellín.
