Regarding the alleged perpetrator of the incident, it is Luis Genaro Briozzo, against whom a search and arrest request is pending, so the Entre Ríos police personnel are working to find his whereabouts.
The personnel of the Seventh Police Station and the Criminalistics Division worked at the scene, under the directives of prosecutors Martín Núñez, Natalia Conti and Evelina Espinosa, who were present at the home.
Sequence of the event
Judicial sources informed Concordia Police that the woman and man who were stabbed were at the door of a home on 2 de Abril and Larocca streets. It was at that moment that the aggressor identified as Luis Genaro Briozzo, who has restrictive measures with his ex-partner but lives close to the house, saw them and went to attack them.
Seeing Briozzo’s presence, the woman entered the house and it was there when her ex-partner kicked her several times. The wounds affected the stomach and neck area, so she is in the Masvernat Intensive Care Unit with reserved status.
While the injured subject ran out of the house but the attacker followed him and caught up with him on the street, stabbing him in the neck area.
