Edgardo Kueider, national senator of the province of Entre Ríos for the Federal Unit, was one of the opponents of the government who voted in favor of the Bases Law last week. After the controversy, he criticized the leadership of Peronism and declared that he “is convinced” that “there is a sector” of politics “that wants everything to explode.”
In dialogue with Radio Splendid, Kueider justified his vote by ensuring that “it made no sense to block” the ruling party from the Senate. Furthermore, he considered that it seemed “an unnecessary whim and a bad strategy” not to vote in favor of the Bases Law, the flagship project of Javier Milei’s government.
