The operations carried out by the National Police units of the Department of Córdoba during the Father’s Day weekend allowed the capture of 16 citizens.
Some 1,500 uniformed personnel deployed in 25 municipalities of this department guaranteed tranquility, protection and mobility during this important date.
Fourteen of the 16 arrests were in flagrante delicto for the crimes of illegal possession of firearms, drug trafficking, reception, theft, use of natural resources and domestic violence, while the two arrests involving court orders were for the crime of sexual act abusive with a minor under 14 years of age.
During the weekend, the uniformed officers also imposed 38 summonses for violating the National Code of Coexistence and Citizen Security; They received 65 calls to 123, of which 17 were for fights, one case of domestic violence and one call for disturbance of the peace (mainly due to loud music).
The Transit and Transportation Section raised awareness among 568 people about accident prevention. And one person was injured in a traffic accident that occurred at kilometer 52, a road that leads from the municipality of Caucasia to Planeta Rica. There were no deaths.
