At the Historical House of Independence Museum, the act of adhesion to the organization was signed with the presence of representatives from all over the country.
At the Historical House of Independence Museum, the president of the Social Council of the University of San Pablo T, Catalina Lonac, welcomed the members of the different Social Councils of the country that will be part of the Tucumán Chapter World Pre-Summit of Public Policies. During the meeting, the act of adhesion of the USP-T Social Council to the Federal Economic and Social Council (COFES) was also signed.
“It is an honor for those of us who did not know this place to be at this moment and we want to thank on behalf of those of us who are part of the Federal Economic and Social Council. The COFES begins in 2014 and means being protected by an entity, by a place to meet, to talk about social dialogue that directs us to the common good,” explained Irma Ciani, president of the Economic and Social Council of Río Cuarto.
“Today we are in the most sacred place of Argentines. It is a great opportunity from the Economic and Social Councils to be able to improve this democracy a little. The creation of the councils is absolutely necessary and timely,” said Lonac.
The day included the delivery of a reminder to the USP-T Council by the Economic and Social Council of Río Cuarto, a tour of the Hall of the Independence Oath and the invitation to see the museum’s light and sound show .
The pre-summit starts
This Tuesday at 9 in the morning, the World Pre-Summit of Public Policies will begin at the Catalinas Park Hotel (Av. Soldati 380), an event that emerged within the Social Council of the University of San Pablo-T. During the entire day we will work on different axes: Knowledge Economy (focused on activities based on knowledge, where information, technology and creativity are fundamental. It includes services based on knowledge, education, training and technological innovation) and Production (focuses on economic activities related to manufacturing, transformation and distribution of goods and services. Includes industrialization, innovation and sustainability).
