The Departmental Directorate of Culture and Tourism of Casanare held the 1st Meeting of Dance Trainers 2024, an event that brought together the entire dance community in the region. A space dedicated to the exchange of knowledge, experiences and the strengthening of the dance sector in Casanare.
During the morning, a discussion was held in the Braulio González auditorium, where trainers shared perspectives and best practices, identifying challenges and opportunities in the education and promotion of dance in Casanare, and promoting collaboration between actors in the sector.
On the “White Night”, the event concluded with the presentation of awards to the most outstanding trainers, in recognition of their 
dedication to the promotion and preservation of the cultural heritage and traditions of Casanare, highlighting the continuous support of the regional government towards culture and art in Casanare.
“This meeting is the result of the effort that makes culture transcend through dance, being more visible at a national and international level. “This is just the first step toward a big change for the department’s dance sector,” he said. Estefanía Antolínes, Departmental Director of Culture and Tourism, thanking all participants for their valuable contribution in highlighting, promoting and exalting culture through dance.
