The match between Córdoba CF and the Barça Atlètic corresponding to the second leg of the play-off final for promotion to the Second Division will be played this Sunday, June 23, but with a change in schedule. The match was scheduled to be played at 8:00 p.m. in Nuevo Arcángel but it will finally be played an hour later (9:00 p.m.).
The First Federation and Barça have communicated that the reason for the change is “the high temperatures expected in Córdoba on the day of the match”. The first leg ended in a 1-1 tie, leaving the second leg open. The Córdoba team began by overwhelming the reserve team in the Mini and took the lead with a goal from Toril. But Márquez’s team reacted and had chances to tie and even win the game.
A goal from Pocho Román in the final stretch of the match marked the final tie and now the two teams will play for promotion in Nuevo Arcángel this Sunday. A goal from the Argentine in the 88th minute gives life to a Barça reserve team that went from less to more. The meeting will be televised by the FEF TV platform and by the regional Esport3 and Canal Sur.
