In the early hours of the morning today, an unexpected event took place at the Provincial Maternity Hospital of Córdoba.
According to witness accounts, a baby was born in the hospital bathroom, generating a stir among the staff and patients present.
The incident occurred around 5:40 in the morning, when a woman, who was waiting for attention in the guard room, went to the bathroom and gave birth to her son there.
“I have been in the Maternity Hospital for more than 24 hours waiting for the birth of my grandson,” declared a witness to Chain 3. “At 5:40 a.m. you feel the excitement in the guard room and it turns out that a woman who was waiting went to the bathroom and the child was born there, this is what happened,” said the man, visibly affected by the situation.
So far, the authorities have not arrived at the scene to carry out the relevant consultations and procedures, leaving many questions in the air about the circumstances that led to this unusual birth.
One of the hypotheses points to the limited availability of beds in the hospital.
