Alejandro Espinosa, president of the National Chamber of the Restaurant and Seasoned Food Industry (Canirac) in San Luis Potosí, assured that Sunday, June 16, was a very good day for restaurateurs, since the rebound in their sales was a hundred percent.
Although he did not provide an exact figure that describes the profits for Father’s Day, in restaurants and food establishments, sales increased by one hundred percent, making last Sunday a very productive day for the restaurant industry.
Little by little, commerce is being restored in restaurants in the capital of Potosí, which had collapsed due to the Covid-19 pandemic. Many establishments were severely attacked due to the lack of attendance at their premises, which is why the vast majority had to close.
However, with these activities it is expected that economic activity will recover sooner than expected.
The National Chamber of the Restaurant and Seasoned Food Industry in San Luis Potosí provides support and advice to affiliated businesses to design a strategy that allows them to recover their rhythm, as well as support in inspections by the authorities so that everything is carried out in accordance with the law.
