Today, Tuesday, June 18, the department of Córdoba commemorates its 72 years of administrative life with a series of official events that highlight its history and development.

Córdoba, officially created as a department by Law 9 of December 18, 1951 and Regulated on June 18, 1952, it celebrates more than seven decades marked by complex situations.

This date marks the birth of Córdoba as a territorial entity, remembering the moment andn that was administratively separated from the department of Bolívar to begin its own path towards regional development.

After the Eucharist, at 9:00 am, a military parade will take place that will culminate on First Avenue and 30th Street, at the statue of General José María Córdova. In this place, a tribute will be paid to the eponymous hero of the department with a wreath.
