Pluspetrol reaffirmed its commitment to the community of Neuquén with the inauguration of the first Añelo Kinesiology Centerwhich has modern facilities for the care and well-being of the community.
The work, executed in 120 days with an investment of 117 million pesos, will significantly improve the quality of life of local inhabitants, providing access to essential kinesiology services in a modern and fully equipped space.
The opening ceremony included presence of the Governor of Neuquén, Rolando Figueroa and the General Manager of Pluspetrol Argentina, Adrián Vila.

The initiative arose in 2018 from a need raised by the authorities of the local Añelo Hospital, given that they lacked a kinesiology service in the area of influence. Given this situation, Pluspetrol initially provided the necessary equipment to start up the service, in temporary facilities, while the project for the new work was launched.
The kinesiology service began operating in 2020, after the Ministry of Health approved kinesiologist positions. In this way, the population avoids traveling to cities such as Neuquén or Centenario to receive treatment, facing high costs and logistical complications.
Recognizing the need for a definitive physical space, Pluspetrol signed an agreement with the Ministry of Health in 2023committing to finance and build the new kinesiology center according to the plans drawn up by the Ministry and on land provided by the Hospital.
The construction was carried out by Corporación Forestal del Neuquén SA (CORFONE)a provincial government company specialized in wood construction systems.
The new Kinesiology Center is developed on a floor with an area of 140 m2and includes a waiting room, toilets, kitchen and office for staff, storage, an office, three boxes for kinesiological care and a space for therapeutic exercises.
This work integrates the Pluspetrol Social Responsibility strategyin which it has already committed USD 1.5 Million of social investment for the province of Neuquén during 2024, thus complementing its important activity as a key operator in the energy development of the province and the country.
