The Directorate of Gender and Diversity presents a new resource for victims of violence: Prensa Gobierno de Mendoza

This is a tool that brings together all the information necessary to access support places for situations of gender-based violence.

This initiative is part of compliance with law 26485 to prevent, punish and eradicate violence against women, and law 26743 on discrimination based on sexual orientation and gender identity towards LGTBIQ+ people. The new resource includes:

– Information about the different types of gender-based violence.

– Contact information for helplines and public organizations.

Its objective is to facilitate access to information and assistance to people who find themselves in situations of violence.

How to access the resource?

It is available online through the website of the Gender and Diversity Directorate. It can also be requested free of charge at the offices of this public agency, located at San Martín 407, City.

In this sense, the director of Gender and Diversity, Belén Bobba, recalled that “people who are experiencing a situation of violence should come forward and seek help. They are not alone and they can be accompanied.”
