The Colombian National Team is preparing for what will be the debut of Copa América 2024 against Paraguay next Monday, June 24, and coach Néstor Lorenzo continues working on what will be the team with which he will go out for that debut in the international tournament.
The team refines details and in the middle of the last practice that took place this Tuesday, June 18, the Colombian Football Federation shared photographs of the training, but inadvertently, it spread one of coach Néstor Lorenzo and curiously, the work table is seen with the names with which he will probably go out to play against Paraguay.
In the table you see who would be the starters and coincidentally it is the same one used in the friendly against the United States and although one of the doubts is in the midfield, the presence of Matheus Uribe appears there.
This is the headline that is displayed in Néstor Lorenzo’s table: Camilo Vargas; Daniel Muñoz, Dávinson Sánchez, John Lucumí, Johan Mojica; Mateus Uribe, Jefferson Lerma, John Arias, James Rodríguez; Luis Díaz and Rafael Santos Borré as the only forward.
Likewise, you can see the substitute teams and the options they have in case one of their first options has any problems, being Álvaro Montero; Santiago Arias, Yerry Mina, Carlos Cuesta, Déiver Machado; Richard Ríos, Kevin Castaño, Luis Sinisterra, Juan Fernando Quintero, Yaser Asprilla; Jhon Córdoba or Miguel Ángel Borja.
For now, we will have to wait if Néstor Lorenzo will use these same players for the debut against Paraguay, but it is clear that under these options he is working for that first duel that will mark the path of the Colombian National Team in the Copa América.
