The Provincial Health Institute of Salta will present the IPS Digital Electronic Prescription today.
The launch event will take place today, from 11 a.m., in the Main Hall of the América Cultural Center, located at Miter 23.
From the Press offices they invited all the media to share this important announcement for members of social work throughout the province.
“In our constant mission to improve the quality of life of our members, we are proud to announce the launch of the IPS Electronic Prescription, with the aim of facilitating access to medications and treatments in a more efficient and safe way,” said the president of the IPS Salta, Gladis Sánchez.
The IPS Electronic Prescription is a modern system that allows social work providers to generate prescriptions electronically, complying with current legislation, regulations and safety standards.
“With this technological advance, we seek to facilitate the acquisition of medications, improve safety and optimize medical processes. This integration ensures effective monitoring of the treatment indicated for the patient, from prescription to dispensing, complying with traceability standards, which allows provides greater transparency to the system,” said Sánchez.
The president said that for its members, the benefits are numerous. Now they can receive their electronic prescriptions directly on their devices, since through their digital credential they are eliminating the paper prescription.
He also said that for pharmacies, access to electronic prescriptions facilitates the dispensing of medications, ensuring that patients receive their treatments in a timely and accurate manner at any pharmacy in the province.”
The new recipe is added to the digital credential that provides members and their family groups with an effective and agile tool to access their services without the need for a physical credential. In this credential, which is on cell phones, you can view the credentials of the entire family group, generate the authorization code, view the latest care and medical prescriptions, access the service booklet, consult the participating pharmacies and opticians, and even qualifying medical care, among other functions.
