This Tuesday, June 18, the president Gustavo Petro
He brought together all his ministers for a council in the Palacio de Nariño to evaluate the progress of the different portfoliosespecially to issues related to the labor reform that was approved today in its first debate.

Likewise, the president made an emphatic call for austerity and stressed the importance of strengthening budget execution and focus all efforts on the effective implementation of the Government plan.

“This measure seeks to optimize available resources and ensure that each investment contributes directly to the well-being of all Colombians.” and reaffirm the Government’s commitment to transparency and efficiency in public administration,” the Presidency reported.

However, the ministerial cabinet was summoned again after the failure of the statutory education law, which is at risk of sinking after a third presentation of the statutory education law was presented a few days before the end of this legislature.

The ministers of the Interior, Justice, Education, Labor, among others, together with the director of Dapre, Laura Sarabia.
