The Entre Ríos Teachers’ Union Association (AGMER) will meet in an Extraordinary Congress this Wednesday in Villaguay, to evaluate the reform of the Entre Ríos pension system announced by the provincial government. The teaching union is in a state of alert and mobilization, while declaring its “unrestricted defense of Law 8732 and our Fund.”
The agenda that the union will address in Congress includes the following points: election of the Congress table; management report; analysis of the national, provincial situation and the Entre Ríos pension system; strategies to follow; Reading and approval of the minutes.
After the series of measures announced by the Frigerio government to face the red of the province’s Retirement and Pension Fund, the majority teaching union, meeting in a Plenary of General Secretaries and Central Board of Directors, declared itself in a state of alert and mobilization.
