Invías presented progress of infrastructure projects in Magdalena – CorrillosR

The National Highway Institute, Invías, presented in the decentralized session of the Fourth Commission of the Senate of the Republic, held in the municipality of Guáimaro, Magdalena, the transportation infrastructure projects that the entity leads in the department with an investment of $1 .99 trillion (2016 – 2030), of which more than $178 billion will be executed in 2024.

The Technical and Structuring Director, Mauricio Céspedes Solano, said: “in Magdalena it is important to clarify that in front of the La Prosperidad road (Guáimaro – Palermo), a project in agreement with the government, to date, 18 km have been paved, Maintenance has been carried out in the critical sector between Palermo and Sitio Nuevo (3 km), the property payment that was pending at km 18 is planned and we are designing the missing 33 km.

He added that, “with the updated designs of the road, we will have real knowledge of the average resources that will be invested per kilometer in the missing sections, and through the Invías contract with the Territorial Development Bank, Findeter, we will complement the La “Prosperity from Salamina to Guáimaro.”

In this space the construction of the Ciénaga variant was reported; paving of Plato – Tenerife; improvement and maintenance between Puerta de Hierro – Magangué – La Bodega, Mompox – Guamal and Guamal – El Banco; attention to coastal protection works and critical sites on the Muchachitos hill; the integral connection of the Momposina transversal; attention to the Tenerife – Salamina and El Piñón – Salamina emergency and the Ciénaga – Barranquilla connection.
