Two captured and one dead left a day of fighting between Army troops and a Clan del Golfo structure in the Northern subregion of Antioquia.

According to the Military Forces, the confrontation occurred in the vicinity of the Montaña Adentro village, in the municipality of San Andrés de Cuerquia, where troops from the 4th Field Artillery Battalion, attached to the Fourth Brigade, were deployed.

While the soldiers accompanied various judicial proceedings that were being carried out against the Clan del Golfo, in which uniformed members of the Police and the CTI of the Prosecutor’s Office also participated, these They were harassed by criminals.

According to the Army report, in the midst of the confrontation, two suspects were captured and another was killed, apparently members of the Luis Hernando Rozo Bertel substructure.
