Hotel reservations already exceed 50% for this holiday. There will be concerts in tribute to the Flag, and the “25 de Mayo” music band will also play on the Cabildo esplanade, among others. Get to know the calendar of activities.

Like every long weekend, Salta is once again one of the tourist destinations most chosen by tourists, and this weekend, which begins tomorrow, Thursday, June 20, and ends on Sunday, June 23, seems to be no exception.

On the occasion of commemorating the Passage to Immortality of General Manuel Belgrano, there are 4 days in which many people will take the opportunity to travel, the Tourism Entity of the Municipality of Salta reported that more than 50% of reservations are already registered in Salta in hotels. However, this percentage is expected to increase in the coming hours.

It is worth remembering that during the last 3-day weekend, there were a total of 5,364 arrivals to our city, while there were 9,119 overnight stays. This meant an economic impact of more than 450 million pesos.

In this regard, Fernando García Soria said that “the long weekends of June are an opportunity to show the historical legacy that the city has and in turn allow us to increase tourist arrivals to break the seasonality of the month of June. “They give us a lot of expectations for the winter holidays.”

There will be several activities that can be carried out during these days, such as “Getting to know my City” in a special edition of the Patriotic Deed Circuit, it is completely free with limited space. It will take place on Friday at 11 in the morning and those who wish to register can do so at 387-4634652.

Tomorrow, Thursday, June 20, from 4 p.m., there will be a Tribute Concert to the Flag, at the top of Cerro San Bernardo, while from 6:30 p.m. the Cabildo will be illuminated with the colors of the Argentine Flag.

The Belgraniano Circuit is also timelessly available, a free pedestrian tour where you can see the places where Manuel Belgrano has left his mark and today are part of our identity.
