From July 27 to July 1, the version number will be held 36 of the National Horticulture Fair in Villamaría, Caldas.
This edition features Mexico as a guest country for the first time, in addition to musical presentations, sporting, artistic and cultural events, agricultural exhibitions and the decentralization of the event. It will also be done in Neira, Palestine, Chinchiná and Manizales.
In response to the desire to pay tribute to the farmers, the Fair was born in 1961. Normally it was held every two years, but the current Administration ordered the 2024 edition to also be held to reactivate the economy.
Metrópoli Fest is this year’s commitment with which they also seek to have a presence in the municipality of Neira and Palestine with a presentation at each location.
Juan Pablo Jaramillo, in charge of the Villamaría House of Culture, explains that years ago the edition of the Departmental Reign of Horticulture. “At this moment we have confirmed 18 candidates from our country.”

Juan Pablo Jaramillo He assures that the mayor invited them and “they very kindly wanted to come and participate in this fair, with the goal that we could later take a sample of agriculture to Mexico, to show that culture and idiosyncrasy of ours.”
The municipality expects some 120 thousand visitors and they assure that thanks to the support of the Manizales Metropolitan Police and the Ayacucho Battalion of Manizales they will guarantee the safety of their own and visitors.
