students of the Band took the Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag

In his speech, Mayor Gonzalo Monteros urged the 4th grade, 6th and 7th grade students to continue walking towards the future with determination and courage.

In a day full of emotion and patriotic sense, the municipality of Salí River Band paid tribute to the creator of the Argentine Flag, the General Manuel Belgrano. The ceremony took place on the eve of commemorating a new anniversary of the passage to immortality.

The mayor Gonzalo Monteros led the event, taking the Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag from the 4th grade, 6th and 7th grade students, who paraded with pride and commitment. Officials, parents and neighbors joined this celebration, wearing the light blue and white colors that unite us as a nation.

In his speech, the president urged children and young people to continue walking towards the future with determination and courage. “Be rebellious when the causes are just,” he emphasized, remembering the fight of Belgrano and Martín de Güemes for independence and the freedoms that we enjoy today as Argentines.

Additionally, during the event, the acquisition of 300 fans for local educational establishments was announced, as well as the second delivery of school kits. Students from private institutions will also be able to join these initiatives.
