An exhibition of works of art on the history of the palestinian territories. The exhibition includes 130 works of art, including photographs, embroidery, murals, album covers and posters, as well as historical documents.

One of the most shocking things is the highlight place occupied by watermelon at the exhibition. This fruit shares the colors of the Palestinian flag and has become a symbol of resistance after the flag’s symbology was banned.

Chile is home to what is considered the largest Palestinian community outside the Middle East. For curator Javiera Manzi, the exhibition is not only about history, but about the present.

“It’s an exhibition that takes place while genocide is still happening every day. So, we don’t want it to be a place where people go to see the works of art from a distancebut rather that they be seen as tools for the mobilization that is coming,” declares Manzi.
