A 38-year-old man was attacked with bullets inside his home in the southwest area of ​​the city of Santa Fe. Two projectiles hit his body, but fortunately his life is not in danger.

It all happened in the front yard of a house located in the hallway area of ​​Roque Sáenz Peña Street, between Monseñor Zazpe and General López, near where the railroad tracks cross. The place is located practically on the “triple border” of the San Lorenzo, Santa Rosa de Lima and Alfonso neighborhoods.

The perpetrators of the incident were two individuals, not yet identified.

At the request of the 911 Emergency Center, a patrol car from the Radioelectric Command arrived on the scene shortly after. Neighbors had called to report gunshots. When the uniformed officers arrived, an ambulance was leaving with the victim inside and heading to Cullen Hospital.

The injured man was treated at the public health center for two injuries. One of the projectiles pierced his right thigh and another grazed his back. Fortunately, he was discharged shortly after and returned to his home.

By order of the prosecutor on duty, Dr. Gonzalo Iglesias, Criminalistics experts from the Investigative Police worked at the scene to look for elements of interest for the case.
