“Belgrano was a man who not only exercised his command through the Army, but was a lawyer and economist. His writings have contributed a lot to the development of commercial production, development of activities that have to do with the entire growth of our society. Republic,” he reflected.
For his part, the Minister of Culture and Tourism, Federico Posadas, said that “it is a special day for Jujuy, a Belgrano province for everything that Belgrano represented for Argentine history, but particularly for our province.”
He highlighted that “Belgrano gave a lot for Argentina to consolidate itself as what it is today and, in addition, betting heavily on education” and recalled that “every time he received a prize from the national government for the achievement achieved, he donated those resources for schools to be founded in the Argentine Republic and I believe that it is the main legacy that Belgrano has left for us.”
