In an operation carried out in the southern area of the city of Córdoba, two people were arrested while trying to steal a truck. The suspects, who were traveling in a Toyota Corolla, were arrested on O’Higgins Avenue.
The chase was filmed and you can see how the Toyota tried to flee from the police patrol that was able to catch up with it on Bernardo O’Higgins Avenue and Gregorio Orozco Passage.
Chief Commissioner Sebastián Pereira explained, in dialogue with Chain 3: “I am aware of some people aboard a vehicle, a Toyota Corolla, who were trying to open a truck that was parked there.”

CAP personnel began a chase when the suspects fled at high speed. “Arriving at O’Higgins, in front of the Volkswagen, in a passage the vehicle was controlled and two people were arrested,” he added.
The detainees are two men, 30 and 31 years old respectively.
According to the chief commissioner, one of the detainees had a pending arrest warrant.
In addition, the Toyota Corolla they were using also registered a kidnapping request since last May 12.
