The Prosecutor’s Office confirmed that a minor under 17 years of age was prosecuted for the crimes of aggravated homicide and manufacturing, trafficking, carrying or possession of firearms. Apparently, the teenager murdered his own father with the complicity of his 16-year-old girlfriend.

A promiscuous municipal judge of Guadalupe (Huila) imposed a measure of preventive confinement in a specialized center for two teenagers who would be involved in the homicide of a 48-year-old man. The events occurred in the village of Australia, on March 25, 2024.
It would be a 17-year-old minor and his 16-year-old girlfriend. Apparently, the couple was upset because the young man’s father refused to give him and his girlfriend five million pesos and a motorcycle.
This would have caused the young man to shoot the adult six times, causing his death. Once the crime was committed, the alleged perpetrators fled the scene, and were captured in the municipality of Guadalupe y Garzón (Huila).
The Prosecutor’s Office charged them with the crimes of aggravated homicide and manufacturing, trafficking, carrying or possession of firearms, accessories, parts or ammunition. Charges that were not accepted.
