With the purpose of promoting the economic reactivation of San Andrés and Providencia as a tourist destination, the Ministry of Commerce, Industry and Tourism and Fontur convened a business conference.

The meeting will bring together 120 travel agencies from Bogotá and Cundinamarca to discuss the tourism offer of San Andrés, Providencia and Santa Catalina. In addition, it will have the participation of 15 businessmen from the archipelago, who They will carry offers to influence the traffic of national and international visitors.

The general manager of Fontur, Álvaro Balcázar, expressed the importance of this meeting.

“The Ministry is investing in the renewal of key infrastructure in San Andrés and in promoting its gastronomy at different events. We continue working to promote tourism and San Andrés will be one of our priorities,” added the Minister of Industry, Commerce and Tourism, Luis Carlos Reyes.
