This structure, led by alias ‘Brayan’ and made up mostly of members of the same family, They used two minors to distribute bazooka and marijuana and, according to the authorities, they obtained weekly profits that exceeded 16 million pesos.

In the eight search procedures, the uniformed officers seized seven kilos of marijuana, more than 100 cigarettes of this same narcotic ready for distribution, 20 doses of coca base and two pistol-type firearms.

“In the municipality of La Plata, in the San Isidro sector, a criminal gang was dismantled where 15 people dedicated to the marketing of narcotics were captured, in the search proceedings ten people were captured by court order, others in flagrante delicto. and two teenagers arrested. It was a criminal enterprise made up of a family, where a woman, her two children and four nephews were captured,” said Colonel Carlos Eduardo Téllez, police commander in Huila.

Likewise, two members of this criminal organization would be involved in the homicide of a person known by the alias ‘Spain’ in a possible settling of accounts over micro-trafficking issues.

Those captured were prosecuted for the crimes of conspiracy, trafficking, manufacture and possession of narcotics, illegal possession of firearms, instrumentalization of minors to commit crimes and homicide.
