The unfortunate news has become known that Héctor Labadi Hierrezuelo, head of the Section of District #2 in the Young Computer and Electronics Club, was stabbed by a young man in Santiago de Cuba. The information was shared by independent journalist Yosmany Mayeta Labrada on his Facebook profile.
The motive for the assault and battery is not exactly known. Héctor is undergoing surgery and his state of health is very reserved. Labadi Hierrezuelo, 53, is known as a helpful person and is the head of the Joven Club located on the central Calle Enramadas.
Héctor, despite having family and many friends abroad, is a devotee of communism and frequently praises socialism in his social media posts.
It has been mentioned that the aggressor could be Nicolás Román Torres, although this information has not yet been confirmed. It is not known if Torres has surrendered to police authorities.
