From today, Friday until next Sunday, it will be open in the Parque de la Vida de Armenia, the XII National Orchid Exhibition, one of the greatest spectacles of floral nature in Colombia.
This event It brings together Colombian associations, hobbyists, scholars and those who work with these beautiful plants. It is planned that the nine stands will look like 800 specimens of orchids from each of the regions of Colombia.
Each space will have expert guides to share information about the wide variety of plants on display. At the end of the tour, people will find a commercial area where they can buy the flowered orchid of their interest.
Entry to the exhibition will have a contribution of $15,000 and there will be an artistic space run by Diana Ordoñez, a visual artist who graduated from the University of Quindío, who through audiovisual samples, will illustrate the importance that pollination has for human life. In this regard, Diana indicated; “This material aims to give the viewer a vision of the landscape, orchids and plants from the pollinator’s perspective.”
