On Wednesday, June 26 and Thursday, June 27, the Business Chamber of Urban Developers of Córdoba (Ceduc) will carry out Proyectar Córdoba 2024, a space that is in its second edition and that brings together the entire development chain.
With an expected growth of 20% compared to the event held in 2023, the meeting will take place at the Convention Center of the Córdoba Fairgrounds, where there will be an exhibition area of 5 thousand square meters in which 40 exhibitors will have their place: leading companies in the market in the areas of openings, cement, elevators, paints, faucets, toilets, floors and other products in the construction value chain.
On the main stage, meanwhile, top-level conferences are planned that will be given by local, national and international leaders.
During the two days of the event, visits are expected from architects, engineers, construction professionals, real estate investors, urban development and architecture officials from Córdoba and neighboring provinces, interested in the construction and investment in lots, homes, apartments, housings and real estate offer.
Projecting Córdoba 2024 will constitute another milestone for Ceduc just as it celebrates its 20th birthday. The celebration of this date will take place with a closing dinner of the event in which, among other guests, national government officials and former chamber authorities will participate.
Project Córdoba: the annual space for debate
Roque Lenti, president of Ceduc, highlighted the importance of Proyectar Córdoba by stating that “it is necessary for the sector to have an annual space in which we can talk about trends, projects, sustainability and new technologies; also talk about everything that has to do with public policies.”
According to the manager, urban development plays a very important role within society, within cities. “Córdoba needs and deserves an opportunity because Córdoba has to enter the path of transformation and modern cities,” Lenti added.
He also praised the work of Ceduc in the sense of not only being an entity that intervenes in sectoral problems, but also shows an openness towards society. This position led her to call on all institutions from the first day, not only the Municipality as a regulatory entity, but also the developers, the builders, the sectoral chambers, the universities, the professional associations and society itself.
Project Córdoba: Wednesday’s agenda
As for the agenda for Wednesday, although the official opening will take place at 12:30, the activities will begin in the morning. Thus, at 10, the topic will be “BIM in Córdoba: Advances and Opportunities in the Digital Transformation of the Sector”, by Dolores Menso, Diego Cotsifis and Mariano Rivas. At 10:40, it will be the turn of “Management and Direction of Works”, with the architect Guillermo Daniel Sambresqui. Meanwhile, at 11:40, the Biennial Award for the Built Work of the College of Architects of the Province of Córdoba will take place.
At 3:00 p.m., Diego Rodríguez Correa (Chile) will talk about “Innovating in Real Estate. From Theory to Practice in the Corporate Ecosystem”, and then give his place to the architects Federico Argüello Pitt and Ramiro Veiga, who will speak at 3:50 p.m. on “Architectural Trends in Córdoba”. At 4:40 p.m., the topic will be “The business of Sustainable Construction in Latin America”, by architect María Alexandra Cardona (Colombia).
Later, at 5:20 p.m., deputy Alejandra Torres and engineer Pablo López will talk about “Smartcities: The Future of Cities”, while at 6pm the topic will be “The impact of developments on cities”, by Félix Ortega (Grupo Dinámica), Adrián Capello (Capello SA) and José Luis Acevedo (Grupo Canter ), with the moderation of Daniel Alonso (The voice of the interior). Wednesday’s activity will close at 6:30 p.m. with Salvador Di Stefano and the presentation “Argentina: towards a change of economic regime in the Milei era.”
Project Córdoba: Thursday’s agenda
On Thursday the activity will begin at 10 with the topic “Strategic Thinking in Real Estate: The Power of Behavioral Economics”, by Sebastián Rivero, followed at 10.30 by “Real Estate Vision of the Córdoba Market”, with the word of Lucas Bergo (Cacic) and Lucas Péndola (CPI). At 10:50 the “Real Estate Conversation: Realities and Projections in the Cordoba market” will arrive, led by Mariana Geimonat, Marcos Marchi, Franco Strazza and Joaquín Malbran, moderated by Diego Dávila, journalist from The voice.
From 11:30 to 12:15, Federico González Rouco will talk about “The Macro Economy and Housing in 2024: The return to credit.” At 12:20, it will be the turn of “The Construction Industry: Generations Creating City”, with the participation of César Martínez, Sol Martínez (Grupo Betania), Carolina Bugliotti, Atilio Bugliotti (Bugliotti Desarrollos), Evangelina Darsie and Oscar Darsie ( Darsie).
At 2 p.m., the topic will be “Uruguay: Public Policies that Dynamize the Development Sector,” with presentations by Sebastián Sánchez and Fabián Kopel. Then, at 3pm, there will be “Generating Conditions for Urban Development”, by architect Álvaro García Resta. At 4 p.m., Pablo Balián, Diego Peralta and Matías Benedetti will speak about “Sustainable Cities: The importance of Urban Planning”, while at 5 p.m. Damián Tabakman (CEDU) will do the same about “Current Situation of the Real Estate Market. Perspectives and Trends”.
Finally, at 5:45 p.m., it will be the turn of “Federal Vision of the Development Sector”, with the participation of Gonzalo Parga (Edisur), Rodolfo Dante (Aspa) and Roberto San Millan (Grupo Norte), after which at 6:30 p.m. topic “Housing Financing: Bancor Experience”, with the words of Osvaldo Levis and María Julia Martínez (Bancor).
