In view of the good reception of the perimeter closure of the terraces of the hospitality establishments in the city center ring, which increased during the covid pandemic, the Arnedo City Council decided to maintain it.
It is a space that covers Puerta Munillo, Eliseo Lerena, Santo Domingo and the Argentine Republic.
On the occasion of summer, this closure materializes again from yesterday until the weekend of the Pilar festival (October 12).
On Fridays, access to the area will be closed from 8:00 p.m. to 2:00 a.m. (early morning on Saturday). On Saturday, from 1:00 p.m. to Sunday at 12:00 p.m.
Work is being carried out to improve control by installing nine bollards in República Argentina and Eliseo Pineda. There will be other access options for the garages and a prohibition on parking during the cutoff times in the Argentine Republic section.
The purchase of the nine bollards was awarded to Ado Urban Furniturae for 10,349.13 euros, VAT included (a quote was requested from three companies). The placement is carried out by SHR Edificación for 4,767.27 euros, VAT included. The City Council requested a quote from five local builders.
