Singer, composer and guitarist; Martín Krywo will present his first album, tonight, at 9:30 p.m. in the Sala Joven of the Municipal Theater (Miter 41 east). Under the name Suspensión, the material contains nine songs that he wrote between October 2021 and October 2023, navigating topics such as universal love and anxiety; addressed through genres such as rock, blues, bolero, bossa nova and pop.

“This album is like a practical job where I learned to compose, produce and solve technical issues. It has Fabricio Montilla, Fabricio Pérez, La Sociedad del Bolero and Alejandro Francavilla as guest artists, which makes it something quite collective,” Martín told CUYO’S DIARY.

“The Suspension path helped me investigate what I went through when I had the need to create, the questions that arise from putting the world in crisis and the search for answers. I’m not a person who necessarily sifts the emotional into music, although of course it moves me. But here I do more of an exercise in rationalizing feelings,” explained the 27-year-old maker about the making of the album, where each song includes a poetic and indigenous turn, such as the diffusion cuts Fiebre (2022), Vení and En el aire (2023), titles that were released on Spotify and YouTube.

Why Suspension? “The concept was born as a way to put names to the things that concern us as a society,” stressed the artist, for whom this concert will also represent the “debut” of the solo project that he will premiere, on this occasion, accompanied by Martín Ávila on percussion. , Matías Moncunill on keyboard and Tomás Klement on bass.

Happy with his achievements, Martín reflected that his relationship with music dates back to childhood.
“I always listened to music, I started in the primary school choir and then everything began to devolve into other listenings and other searches. Since she was 13 years old she played the guitar and sang other artists’ repertoire. But in 2020, during the pandemic, I decided to launch my own songs. I say that one in music has two births: at the moment of appropriating it and at beginning to make it”, she stressed about his first steps in this art and dreaming of what awaits him.
