The 10 best-selling motorcycles in Mendoza and in the country they are rearranged in the standings and some brands, such as Honda, have decided to freeze their prices for most of their models for June, which represents good news for buyers, added to the new financing available.
A few days ago, ACARA Motos presented the data corresponding to the May sale. According to the organization, the number of patented units was 39,075 motorcycle vehicles, this is a year-on-year decrease of 2.8% since in May 2023 40,215 units had been registered.
If the comparison of motorcycle sales is with last April, an increase of 1.6% is observed, 38,474 units had already been registered.
In this way, in the accumulated five months of the year, 170,566 units were patented, this is 16.9% less than in the same period of 2023, in which 205,362 motorcycle vehicles had been registered. Although it shows a rebound and optimism for the rest of the year.
Most searched brands and models
Regarding participation, motorcycle sales in May did not bring changes compared to April in the top positions: Honda continued to lead the market with 7,866 units, followed by Motomel, with 5,825 and Corven, which with 4,245, is in third place. Gilera remains fourth, for the fifth consecutive month with 4,107 units and surpasses Zanella, which with 3,713, closes the first five of May.
The Honda Wave 110, historical leader in previous years, maintained the top, followed by the Motomel B110, which had regained that position in March.
The novelty of May is that the Gilera Smash climbs to third position, surpassing the Corven Energy 110 by Corven, which was fourth in May. The Keller KN 110-8, fifth, closes the top five with very few units of difference.
