There will be weak rainfall and later a cold front.
The CIEP-UACh Ecoclimatic Laboratory of the Climate and Pollution line of the Patagonian Ecosystem Research Center sent the meteorological report for the Aysén Region for the period Friday, June 28 and Tuesday, July 2, where frost will predominate.
Between Friday, June 28 and Tuesday, July 2, dry conditions are expected to predominate in the Aysén Region, especially on Friday, July 28, with the exception of some very light rainfall in areas of the interior coast.
During Saturday and Sunday, rainfall will be weak to normal in most of the territory, with maximum daily amounts expected of 20-25 mm. in areas such as Puerto Raúl Marín and Caleta Tortel. For Monday the 1st and Tuesday the 2nd, rainfall will continue to be weak to very weak. This variation is initially due to the passage of high migratory pressure and later to a cold front.
Minimum temperatures will remain below 2°C, with frosts of up to -9°C to -7°C between Friday and Saturday, mainly in the center and south of the region. The maximum temperatures would not exceed 5°C. The height of the 0°C isotherm will vary between 200 and 1000 meters above sea level, with the lowest heights to the south, increasing the possibility of solid precipitation during Saturday and Monday.
There will be exceptions in Chile Chico, as there will be clear skies on Friday 28th and on Sunday and Monday, with extreme temperatures of 0 to 3 degrees Celsius.
The average magnitude of the wind will be mostly light, below 10 km/h, although in coastal and border towns such as Melinka and Puerto Ibáñez gusts of 50-70 km/h could be experienced, with the northwest wind predominating.
