A traffic accident in the municipality of Mayarí, in Holguín, left one person dead and nine injured, including a six-month-old child.
The accident occurred in the vicinity of Cabonico in Mayarí, after eleven in the morning, according to the Facebook user Emilio Rodríguez Pupo.
According to the first reports of the event, everything happened “when the driver of the jeep vehicle, which was traveling from Holguín to Moa, lost control,” said this Internet user.
He lost his life in the fatal event. Yoennis Borrero Salazar36 years old, who was the driver of the vehicle and resident in the municipality of Sagua de Tánamo.
The six-month-old child was transferred to the Holguín Pediatric Hospital, although he had no injuries.
This Internet user added that the father of the little boy, who is the result of the assistance program for infertile couples, was the one who helped the other passengers after the accident.
