Through a major offensive against the Organized Armed Groups that act under the modality of drug trafficking, in Buenaventura, Valle del Cauca, it was possible to dismantle in the last hours, the structure 30 of this residual group, through joint and coordinated work between the Colombian Air Force, The Colombian Navy and the National Police.

The operation was carried out after extensive intelligence work, which determined that this structure intimidated boats and artisanal fishermen, who moved through the Colombian Pacific, along the Raposo and Cajambre rivers, in addition to using these routes to transport alkaloids. .

The subjects were traveling in a boat, where they were surprised by River Units; Immediately, aircraft from the Air Combat Command No.7 reacted in a timely manner to carry out the transfer of troops, who in support of the personnel of the Pacific Naval Force, arrived at the place where, after the clashes, death was reported in development of military operations by four members of this organization and the seizure of weapons.

At the scene, four assault rifles were found, one of them with a grenade launcher device, the material of which was made available to the competent authorities.
In this way, the Colombian Air Force will continue in the determined fight against all factors that violate the rights of Colombians, as well as drug trafficking and criminal mining, as a source of financing for the different Organized Armed Groups, which affect the tranquility of the civilian population, in this region of the country.
