The primary objective of Hub is to collaborate with each entrepreneur giving them the possibility of finish developing and validating prototypes of your proposals and that in turn these generate significant changes in the local ecosystem, with the potential to expand at a regional or global level. It will be the second edition of this proposal, which last year brought together more than 50 applicants, and for this edition it is expected to increase the number of participants.

They will participate as allies National University of Cuyo, National Technological University (Mendoza Regional Faculty), Wines of Argentina, Bodegas de Argentina, Government of the Province of Mendoza, LODO Agricultural Innovation Space, Faculty of Agrarian Sciences of the UNCuyo, Embarca Aceleradora, INTA and Nodo Innovación Cuyo. It also has the support of City Zone Tel Aviv and the Hebrew University of Jerusalemamong other institutions.

The projects that are selected will be able to access a process of training, support and validation in which municipality and representatives of the wine sector will serve as design partner of the proposed solutionsproviding feedback, generating instances of dialogue with professionals and references from the areas involved, articulating and allowing the validation of prototypes.

The process, which will begin in the month of August with those selected, proposes instances of training, talks, mentoring, and networking which will be provided online for more than two months and one week in person in the City of Mendoza, during the month of October for a member of the entrepreneurial team of each venture.

For this occasion, the Impact Hub will focus on two fundamental pillars:

  • Public Innovation: What challenges of the City of Mendoza and municipal management can we solve through entrepreneurs, technology and innovation?
  • Wine and Agroindustrial Innovation: How can we add value to the different productive stages of our emblematic industry through innovation processes?

Requirements to participate in the Huella Mendoza program

  • Productive projects for profit.
  • Teams from Argentina, Chile, Uruguay, Peru, Bolivia and/or Paraguay.
  • Projects with a functional prototype in the validation stage or to be validated.
  • Innovative, technological and/or scientific solutions that respond to the challenges posed in the two verticals raised.
  • Vision of scalability, potential for expansion at a regional or global level and/or with the possibility of patenting.
  • Projects focused on the triple impact will be desirable: economic, social and environmental.
