There is only one stage left to put an end to the Return to Colombia 2024which will have its outcome in the department of Antioquia, beginning in Medellin and ending in Envigado. This Sunday, June 23, the triumph of Rodrigo Contreras of the Nu Colombiawhich already took almost two minutes Wilson Pena and Diego Camargo of the Team Sistecredito and of Petrolike respectively.
In the eighth stage, the winner was Yesid Pira who arrived first on the 144.3 kilometer journey to reach Alto de Minas. Rodrigo Contreras will have to revalidate his participation, consolidating himself in the last and definitive day in Antioquia.
The ninth day, which awaits an emotional outcome, will end with a lot of effort and loads for the cyclists, who will face a 17.3-kilometer time trial, uphill until they reach Altos de las Palmas in Envigado. The start-up will begin in the EPM Smart Building. It will be a great date for the sprinters, and a tough test with a high climb to reach the finish line.
