This Saturday a new edition of the solidarity event “A Coat for the Heart” returns to Córdoba, in which thousands of people gather to knit wool squares that will later be united to make blankets that will then shelter many people who need it.

The meeting that brings together hundreds of weavers from the city, other towns and neighboring provinces, is next Saturday June 29 at the Quality space, located on 200 Cruz Roja Argentina Street, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m..

For four hours, those who come to collaborate will be able to enjoy different raffles, including stays in different locations in the province of Córdoba, among others.

Gabriela Tessio and Luis Muñoz will be in charge of conducting the event, which will also feature the performance of Facundo Toro, Los Nombradores del Alba and the humor of Marcos Ontivero.

All those who participate must come with their knitting or crochet needles, and upon entering they will be given the wool so that they can make their productions and a number to be able to participate in the raffles.

Like previous years, this campaign is organized by the Government of the Province and the Municipality of Córdoba, together with Cadena 3 and Comipaz.

After the day, the squares will be joined together and the blankets made will be distributed by the Interreligious Committee for Peace (Comipaz).
