ProMendoza seeks new foreign investments to enhance the province: Press Government of Mendoza

In a context of national reforms, the province of Mendoza has redoubled its efforts to attract foreign investments, consolidating its reputation as a safe and attractive destination for international capital.

The ProMendoza Unit has intensified its work in recent months, focusing both on investments coming from other Argentine provinces and those arriving from abroad.

With a clear vision of promoting local economic development, the Investment Attraction Area has become a bridge between potential investors and Mendoza projects, facilitating the connection between both parties through a dynamic project bank and permanent window.

This area aims to link businesses to be carried out in the province of Mendoza – public or private – through a project bank that connects investors with recipients of capital for Mendoza developments.

“ProMendoza not only has a project bank available and a permanent window – where projects can be constantly uploaded – but it also links the parties free of charge and confidentially, giving them space to move forward with the corresponding negotiations,” he explained. the owner Patricia Giménez.

On its website, the institution offers a detailed overview of the different economic sectors of the province, highlighting their main characteristics, benefits and key actors. In addition, it provides crucial information on legal and tax aspects of operating in Argentina, providing transparency and legal security to potential investors.

It is important to highlight the distinction between bankable projects and investments. While a bankable project is based on the ability to return the capital and interest borrowed, an investment involves a more direct partnership between the investor and the project, sharing risks and benefits in equal measure.

“Mendoza has a solid institutional framework, with strict functioning of the rule of law, division and independence of powers. It is among the provinces with the greatest relative development in the country, standing out for its human capital, infrastructure, natural resources and commitment to sustainable economic development.

“The Province has worked to promote the improvement of the business climate and strategic opportunities that materialized in the first months of the year with numerous investments that have chosen Mendoza. Japanese capital has been installed in General Alvear for agricultural production; US investors in lodges luxury located in Valle de Uco; Belgian-Brazilian capitals that bet on the beverage industry in Godoy Cruz; new mouths retail in Greater Mendoza with companies with Chilean capital; and countless other investments in the real estate sector in national capitals of nearby provinces,” described Patricia Giménez.
