Balance of the weekend in Manizales and Villamaria.
Within the framework of the Strategic Security Plan and citizen coexistence for Manizales and Villamaría, the National Police in Manizales, during the weekend celebration of Father’s Day, obtained the following results:
23 people were captured for different crimes, including: trafficking, manufacture or possession of narcotics, aggravated robbery, reception, homicide, domestic violence, among others.
165 summons orders were made for violating the National Code of Citizen Security and Coexistence (Law 1801 of 2016), 97 sharp weapons were seized, 78 transfers were made to the Transitional Center for Protection (CTP), 1011 calls were received to 123, of which 88 cases of fights in public were attended to, 30 for domestic violence and 138 calls for disturbance of public tranquility.
In the same way, the Community Police group carried out 327 awareness campaigns in different sectors focused on the prevention of theft in all its modalities, the Purple Patrol publicizing line 155 and of course the care of our children and adolescents. With the #YoSoyPais strategy, around 1,214 people benefited.
