Given the arrival of rains in the entity, it is important that the population of the Huasteca area strengthen the programs against the dengue mosquito.

Legislator Yolanda Josefina Cepeda Echavarría, president of the Health and Social Assistance Commission of the State Congress, pointed out that the campaign to scrap and clean yards among the population began.

He said that it is important to promote prevention actions among schools, and immediate medical attention when there is suspicion of any symptom such as fever, headache, muscle and joint pain.

On the other hand, he pointed out that the rains that have been recorded are also expected to favor agricultural producers in the Huasteca area, for the recovery of their crops, and the management of their animals.

“Because the Huasteca of Potosí lives from sugar cane, from agriculture, from livestock, and now we intend to receive water soon so that the people’s crops, the communities that planted corn, chili, litchi, which is an important production, orange, mango, we hope it doesn’t stop raining in the state.”
