Through their social networks, the Samaria squad confirmed the incorporation of the Santander native who returns to the club after 28 years where he played for the great FPC teams and several national teams in the world.

The first time Pinto led Unión was between 1988 and 1989 and in fact he was close to giving Unión the second star in the ’89 tournament that was finally canceled due to the murder of the referee, Álvaro Ortega.

His second stage was between 1994 and 1996, but he did not have a successful cycle in the Santa Marta team.

Pinto returns to direct in Colombian soccer after his stormy departure from Deportivo Cali where his cycle was frustrated due to differences with the directives regarding decisions about the squad.
