A new and unusual case of intolerance was recorded in the middle of a public street in the municipality of Plato, in the department of Magdalena, where two people beat each other in the middle of a street in front of several inhabitants of the sector. A woman was seriously injured.
The incident, according to what was established thanks to the local media report, would have occurred during the night hours, in front of the veterinary and agricultural company with the company name ‘Camawey’, located on 13th Street #14-41 of the location.
According to what witnesses stated, those who were involved in the fight were a man and a woman who were homeless, who after verbally attacking each other for several minutes, started beating each other and even threw objects at each other.
It was learned that in the middle of the heated discussion, the subject, whose identity has not been clarified, in the midst of a notorious state of alteration proceeds to hit her with a club at head height, to which the other ends up badly injured. on the floor.
After this act, some of the witnesses to the act of intolerance pounced on the alleged aggressor and tried to attack him, however, the presence of the Police who responded to the community’s call prevented the lynching.
According to the residents of the sector in which the fight was reported, it lasted for several minutes until it was stopped by several men who came to help the woman, identified as Verónica Esther Martínez Terán, known as ‘La Canguro’, the which was loaded into a police van and taken to the Fray Luis de León hospital where it remains under a reserved prognosis.
